Pausing and Resuming Your Work (June 1, 2022)

Can I pause and resume my work on Orion? Yes, you can! Orion has a feature to let you easily pause your work and resume where you left off.

Let’s assume you’re in the middle of analyzing/triaging hits from your Gigadock™ calculation but want to ‘pause’ it and resume later. You can use Orion’s Discussion Board feature to preserve the current state of your hit triage in three simple steps:

1. Create a Discussion Board, Choose Location (Folder in Orion) and Give It a Name.

Step 1: Create a Discussion Board. Edit file name and location.

2. Write Some Text for Your Reference, then Select and Add the Snapshot Link.

Step 2: Write some text for your reference. Insert the snapshot link.

3. Click the green arrow submit button to save your new entry

Step 3: Save your Discussion Board entry. You’re done!.

To resume your work, just go to the discussion board you created and click the snapshot link.

Your last session will be brought up. Now you can resume where you left off.
