2022.2.1 Release

Highlights

  • Floes are now organized by category. They can appear in multiple categories. The following categories are available in the 2022.2 release:

    • Created in Floe Editor

    • Packages

    • Product-based

    • Role-based

    • Solution-based

    • Task-based

  • Floes now have a new “Brief,” which is a short description of the Floe. Floe Search functionality now searches by Floe title and Floe brief.

  • Users can now create shareable links to the current view of the 3D Modeling and Analyze pages.

  • Downloadable dataset, file, and folder links can now be generated from the Data page and shared with other users.

  • A new login experience is available. All users are now guided through the appropriate login process for their underlying implementation.

  • A new load screen is now displayed on login or when Orion is loading certain resources such as Floe reports.

General

New Features

  • Support for new Intel processors has been added.

  • For Floes that use GPUs, the NVIDIA driver version is now 470.103.01.

  • A user’s full name is now displayed on the Navigation bar.

  • A local account is now locked after multiple failed change password attempts.

  • The message in the Job debug collection info email has been improved. The path to the debug file is now specified, and the message includes a reminder that users must be logged into Orion to access the file.

Major Bug Fixes

  • An issue that impacted the scale up of ASGs when there are not enough instances has been fixed.

  • Large GPU instances are now evenly apportioned.

  • An issue that caused some jobs to hang indefinitely has been fixed.

Minor Bug Fixes

  • In certain situations, users were not able to cancel running jobs. This issue has been fixed.

Project Summary

New Features

  • The Project Summary page has been redesigned and improved.

Project Data

New Features

  • Downloadable dataset or file links can now be generated from the Data page and shared with other users.

Minor Bug Fixes

  • When launching Floes from the Project Data page, the output path option is now present.

3D Modeling

New Features

  • Users can now create a shareable link to the current view on the 3D Modeling page using the Snapshot button in the menu bar.

Analyze

New Features

  • Users can now create a shareable link to the current view of the Analyze page using the Snapshot button in the menu bar.

  • Substructure filtering now allows the inclusion of query features for more useful substructure matching.

Minor Bug Fixes

  • An issue that caused newly added ratings and properties to be unavailable for filtering until an Orion reload has been fixed.

Floe UI

New Features

  • Floes are now classified into the following categories:

  • The Floe browser allows users to search for any Floe in any category and the state of search and category path will persist.

  • Floe search is enabled whenever users select any Floe filter such as Favorities, Recently Used, Analyze Enabled, 3D Modeling Enabled, and My Floes.

  • Floe search is limited to current category:

    • Only sub-categories of the current category are shown as options in the dropdown.

    • Searching for a Floe with matching title or brief returns results only in the current category or its sub-categories.

    • The Floe search term is shown as a tag.

Minor Bug Fixes

  • A bug that prevented sorting of datasets when choosing a dataset for Floe input has been fixed.
